BADIN: A man was arrested in a double murder case after he allegedly axed to death his 20-year-old son and second wife in the name of honour in their home located in Manik Leghari village near Tando Ghulam Ali town on Thursday.

Officials at the Gulab Leghari police station said that Mir Khan Chandio allegedly axed Khanzadi Chandio, 19, and Khadim Hussain Chandio, 20, to death when they were asleep in the home in the early hours of Thursday.

The suspect confessed to the crime saying that he could not tolerate the relationship they had developed, the police said.

However, his younger brother, Mir Mohammad Chandio claimed that actually his son had been pestering him since his second marriage.
