Musharraf, Jamali greet China

ISLAMABAD, Oct 15: President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Wednesday felicitated the president and prime minister of People’s Republic of China, respectively, on the successful and historic launch of China’s first manned space mission.

In his message of felicitation to the president of China, President Musharraf said: “Please accept our warm congratulations on the successful launch of Shenzhou-V Spacecraft and the first manned flight by China to space.

“The people and the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan join me in conveying to the people and the government of the People’s Republic of China our hearty felicitations on this historic achievement which brings pride to China as well as to the Asian continent. We share this joy of the Chinese people.”

Prime Minister Jamali in his message to the Chinese premier said: “It gives me a great pleasure to extend to you, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan, our warm and cordial felicitations on the successful and historic launch of China’s first manned space mission.”
