Naeem, Faiza win squash titles

KARACHI: Mohammad Naeem and Faiza Zafar clinched the men and women’s titles of the Independence Day squash tournament at the Jahangir Khan Squash Complex here on Friday.

Naeem defeated Ali Imran 11-5, 11-4, 11-9 while Faiza beat Zahaab Khan 11-4, 11-8, 11-6.

Results (finals):

Boys’ U-13: Huzaifa Subhan beat Fawaaz Asim 11-1, 11-8, 11-6.

Boys’ U-17: Talha Alam beat Saad Abdullah 12-10, 11-2, 11-4.

Men’s: Mohammad Naeem beat Ali Imran 11-5, 11-4, 11-9.

Women’s: Faiza Zafar beat Zahaab Khan 11-4, 11-8, 11-6.—APP
