KARACHI: The Sindh Table Tennis Association (STTA) on Thursday named a 10-member boys and girls team for the 22nd national table tennis championships which is being held at Mansehra from Aug 5 to 8.

The team has been picked on the basis of players performance in the ongoing Young Stars ranking table tennis tournament, the STTA secretary Saleem Ahmed said.

He said the event is being held under the aegis of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Table Tennis Association.

The team will leave for Mansehra by train on Aug 3.

Team:

Boys (under-18): Hamza Godil, Mehdi Raza and Mehdi Azher Ali. (Under-15): Furqan Patel and Kaif Riaz.

Girls (under-18): Hareem Anwar, Haleema Khan and Nimra Faiq. (Under-15): Mehak Anwar and Marian Faiq.

Officials: Tasneem Iqbal (manager girls), Abdul Raheem (manager boys), Abeera Ali (coach boys/girls).
