FAISALABAD, Oct 11: The Punjab chief minister will announce a handsome monthly honorarium for the women councillors in a party convention to be held in Lahore.

This was stated by Law Minister Basharat Raja at a meeting of the PML-Q office-bearers and members of the national and provincial assemblies here on Saturday.

He said the party leadership had a great respect for its sincere workers and would take care of their rights.

Mr Raja promised that due importance would be given to the opinions and suggestions put forth by the workers. The party reorganization process would be made clean and none of the loyal workers would be ignored by the leadership, he added.

He said it was the paramount duty of the leaders, office-bearers and workers that they should work hard to make the PML popular among masses.
