ISLAMABAD: NA team leaves for Moscow

ISLAMABAD, Oct 11: A nine-member parliamentary delegation led by National Assembly speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain left for Moscow on an official visit on Saturday.

According to a press release, the National Assembly speaker is visiting Russia on the invitation extended by Gennady Seleznev, the chairman of the State Duma of Russian Federation (Parliament).

This is Mr Hussain’s first official visit to Russia after assuming the office of National Assembly speaker. The visit will enhance the existing warm and cordial relations between the two parliaments.

The speaker will meet chairman and deputy chairman of State Duma and chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg.
