Who would have thought that our charming Fawad Khan was now in a position to drop Bollywood movies because of date issues? But it turns out that he is! It appears that earlier speculations about him leaving the film because of intimate scenes were not quite true as the actor politely walked out because of clashing schedules.

Fawad who recently bagged Vogue's 'Most Beautiful Male' award at Vogue Beauty Awards spoke about his departure from Battle for Bittora, reported Indian Express: “The biggest hurdle was the timelines which couldn’t coincide. Sonam was busy in her own projects. Rhea (Kapoor) is working on another pet project called ‘Saat Hindustani’. Amidst all this, even I got involved with some work. Rest everything is all conjecture."

Given that it was Kapoor's Khoobsurat that propelled Fawad, many wondered if his decision will strain their relationship but Fawad assured the press that all is well: “I never rejected the film. We still enjoy a good rapport, friendship and conversation. I have all the love and respect for Anil sahab and the whole Kapoor family. And I’d love to work with them whenever the opportunity comes next.”

Based on Anuja Chauhan's book of the same name, Battle for Bittora might see Farhan Akhtar replacing Fawad Khan as the leading man.
