GWADAR: A woman was killed and 45 passengers were injured when a bus carrying members of the Zikri community from Turbat to Gwadar overturned at a bridge on the coastal highway.

The Zikris were returning after taking part in annual religious rituals at Koh-i-Murad near Turbat town when their bus met with the accident near Nalent area.

Personnel of the Frontier Corps and police shifted the injured to hospital.

Meanwhile, a man was found dead in his house in Baloch ward, Gwadar. He was identified as Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Kalri area of Lyari.

He had been living alone in the rented house and was said to be ill for the past few days.

MURDERED: A man was murdered by unidentified attackers in Baalgather area of Panjgur town. The deceased, Abdul Malik, was a resident of Karachi.

Meanwhile, police arrested one Anwar Yaqoob in Pasni on the charge of killing his sister for marrying of her own free will.
