KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has asked party leaders from Punjab to raise their voice for the protection of rights of peasants and growers as the PPP stands by the agriculture community.

The PPP chief gave this directive to a delegation of the PPP south Punjab chapter who called on him here at Bilawal House on Monday. The delegation, led by PPP south Punjab President Makhdoom Shahabuddin with Khwaja Rizwan Alam, Makhdoom Irteza and Hyder Zaman Qureshi as its members, was reminded that the PPP drew its primary strength from farmers, peasants, labourers and working classes and would always struggle for them.
