SHIKARPUR, Oct 7: Journalists of the district took out a silent procession here on Tuesday against the murder of Kawish reporter Amir Bakhsh Brohi.

The protesters after marching through the Shahi Bazaar, Stuart Ganj, Gole Market and the Grain Market Road reached the city graveyard. They offered Fateha and laid floral wreath on the grave of the slain journalist.

Meanwhile, a meeting of Shikarpur journalists constituted a district coordination committee to pursue the murder case.

BADIN: Badin journalists continued their protest against the killing of Mr Brohi by observing a token hunger strike and taking out a procession here.

Protest processions were also taken out in Kadhan, Matli and other towns of the district by journalists.

SANGHAR: The journalists took out a procession here on Tuesday against the police failure to arrest the killers of Mr Brohi. Journalists from the city as well as Jhol, Sinjhoro, Shahdadpur, Tando Adam, Khipro, Khadro and other towns participated in the procession.
