KARACHI, Oct 6: Majority of Olympians and internationals failed to report for Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) series at UBL Sports Complex on Sunday.

Habib Ali Kiddie XI whipped Habib-ur-Rehman XI in PHF Series match 3-0.

All three goals of the match were scored in the first session. Most of the players appeared in the match were Sui Southern Gas Company.

Wasif Raza struck two goals and Zia-ul-Islam on in Habib Ali Kiddie triumph. Sindh Hockey Association conducted the match on behalf of PHF.

Out of the several Olympians only Ayaz Mahmood came to lead Habib Ali Kiddie XI. Double Olympian Kamran Ashraf, who was named to lead Habib-ur-Rehman XI also failed to report the match.

The second match of the series will be staged in Sukkur for which date will be announced later.—APP
