ISLAMABAD, Dec 23: Leader of the opposition in the Azad Kashmir’s Legislative Assembly, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has asked India to think twice before opting for any misadventure against Pakistan.

Mr Chaudhry said the Indian intelligence agency, RAW, had staged the drama of the attack on Indian parliament in a bid to defame Pakistan after its plane-hijacking drama flopped.

The former Azad Kashmir prime minister said the war-mongerers in India should not forget that Pakistan was a nuclear power and would be compelled to use all the weapons in its arsenal against any threat to its security.

Barrister Sultan asked the world powers to persuade India not to create war hysteria.

He urged India to resolve all problems with Pakistan, including the core issue of Kashmir, through a dialogue.

He said the rejection of Pakistani offer of joint investigations into the attack on Indian parliament showed that the Indian agencies had perpetrated this act at the behest of the fanatic BJP rulers.

He demanded of the United Nations (UN) to persuade the Indian rulers to implement the UN Security Council resolutions guaranteeing the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir. —PPI
