RAWALPINDI, Dec 23: Tehrik-i-Nafaz-i-Fiqah Jafaria (TNFJ) chief Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosvi has criticized India for accusations that Pakistan was involved in the attack on Indian parliament.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, Mr Moosvi said India should have extended a hand of friendship towards Pakistan and resolved all problems through a dialogue.

He termed the Indian belligerence as an attempt to divert the world’s attention from its internal problems.

The TNFJ chief said the decision of the Indian authorities to recall their high commissioner from Pakistan was unwise.

He also described the Indian decision to stop the Samjotha Express and Dosti Bus services as foolish.

He said all powers, including India, should keep in mind that war could not solve problems.

He termed the President Gen Pervez Musharraf’s visit to China as timely. China is our true friend, he said and added, a Pak- China defence agreement was the need of the hour.

Allama Moosvi expressed his heart-felt sympathies for interior minister Moinuddin Haider whose brother was murdered by terrorists. He urged the government to arrest the culprits and award them exemplary punishment.
