KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan on Friday approved the ‘Sindh Security of Vulnerable Establishments Act, 2015’, which would be enforced across the province with immediate effect.

It allows use of every possible technology by investigators to collect evidence from a place where an offence is committed, says a statement issued by Governor House.

The law is aimed at ensuring effective security at all public places, including worship places, offices of the provincial and federal governments, private firms, non-governmental organisations, foreign projects, hospitals, banks, money-changers, financial institutions, industrial units, educational institutions, public parks, private clinics, wedding halls, petrol and CNG stations, jewellery shops, hotels, amusement or entertainment centres, public transport terminal, special bazaars, commercial streets, shops or shopping arcades.
