KARACHI: A two-member delegation of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) returned here on Monday after inspecting grounds in the interior of Sindh.
The delegation comprising former chief selector and adviser to PCB chairman (South) Salahuddin Ahmed Sallu and senior manager National Stadium Karachi (NSK) Mohammad Arshad Khan visited grounds of Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Sukkur, Khairpur and Dadu.
The visit was made on the directive of PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan and director domestic Intikhab Alam.
During the visit, the delegation members held meetings and listened to the grievances of the officials of district associations pertaining to the game.
The officials of the associations of Sukkur Dadu, Larkana and Khairpur also informed Sallu about the injustices and problems faced by them in team selections.
Arshad said they would be submitting their report to the PCB on different issues related to conditions and problems in maintenance of the grounds in interior Sindh within the next couple of days.
