Mardan win judo title

PESHAWAR: Mardan clinched the trophy after securing 81 points with five gold, four silver and one bronze medal in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inter-Division Women Judo Championship played at the Lala Rafique Sports Arena here on Wednesday.

Peshawar with 50 points (two gold, one silver and three bronze medals) got second position, followed by Swat with 40 points (one gold, two silver and as many bronze medals).

Gold medallists:

36kg: Abida of Mardan

40kg: Asma of Peshawar

44kg: Nida of Swat

48kg: Maria of Pesahwar

52kg: Husna of Mardan

57kg: Muhsina of Mardan.
