LAHORE, Sept 29: Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) has decided to make it obligatory for all its affiliated units to participate in the 43rd national championships to enable it to select a three-member team to take part in Islamic table tennis championship to be held at Tehran from Dec 1-6.

It has been reported that some units of the PTTF had decided not to take part in the national event, to be held at Rahimyar Khan from Oct 3 to 8.

“PTTF has informed all its affiliated units only those players will be considered for selection who will participate in the national championship,” a PTTF spokesman said.

The spokesman said that a three-member selection committee headed by Iftikhar-u-Haq will watch the performance of players in the national championship before deciding the team.

The members are Abdul Aziz, Shahjehan Latif, Haji Ehsan-ul-Haq, Kafayatullah.
