KARACHI: A superb 69-ball 138 by opener Ajmal Khan helped Baqai Medical University hammer Sindh Medical College by a whopping 90 run margin in another match of the Red Bull Campus Cricket tournament 2015.

The match was played at IBA ground. After winning the toss the BMU batsmen, especially Ajmal, smashed the opposition bowlers all around the park. BMU posted 213 runs, losing only one wicket in their allotted 20 overs with Ajmal scoring a brilliant hundred.

In reply, the Sindh Medical team was bundled out for a mere 123 runs, opener Hussain Arshad topscored with 31 runs. Khubab Khalid claimed four wickets while Sameer Abdul dismissed three batsmen. Ajmal was named man of the match.

Vital Five cricket ground in DHA hosted an exciting clash between Iqra University and PAF KIET. Batting first Iqra amassed 157 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Hassan Mehmood was the main run-getter for Iqra, scoring 68 off only 45 balls. His innings was studded with four sixes and six fours.

In reply, the PAF KIET team finished their quota of 20 overs at 132 for eight, losing the match by 25 runs. Huzaifa Siraj scored 37 runs while Akhtar Kayani, Hassan and M.Omer chipped in with two wickets each. Hassan was named man of the match for his all-round performance.
