Rabia, Fatima claim archery titles

LAHORE: Rabia Momin of Islamabad and Sajjab Fatima of Lahore won the senior and junior titles respectively of the Punjab Open Women Archery Championships at the Punjab Stadium here on Friday.

In the senior category, Aqsa Ali of Government College University Lahore (GCUL) grabbed silver medal while Abida Siddique of Punjab University and Anum Khawar of GCUL seized bronze medals.

In the junior category, Arifa Mehmood of GCUL claimed silver medal while Sara Rehman and Saira Dilshad of the same college grabbed bronze.

Ayesha Momina was also declared the best archer for the challenge category.

The event was organised by the Punjab Archery Association in collaboration with the Lahore City District Government. As many as 27 female archers took part.
