Indian shelling damages several houses

SIALKOT: The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to heavy shelling on border villages in Shakargarh sector on Wednesday which damaged several houses.

According to a senior official of the Chenab Rangers, the BSF started unprovoked shelling at 5:30pm which continued for half an hour.

He said the BSF targeted the civilian population with mortar shells. The Chenab Rangers retaliated instantly.

No injury or loss of any life was reported.
