KARACHI: Faqeer Colony Boxing Club clinched the DMC South Shuhada Army Public School Junior Boxing Championship after winning five gold medals with Young Baloch Boxing Club being runners-up with two.

The championship was organised at the Ustad Ali Mohammad Qambrani Boxing Stadium in Lyari.

According to a handout issued on Sunday, Mohammad Imran, Ilyas Ali, Naimatullah, Mohammad Ismail, Sher Ali, Sajid Rashid, Zohaib Rasheed, Mamnoon Ali and Salman won gold medals in different weight categories.

The silver medalists included Mohammad Zeeshan, Sameer Ahmed, Shahzaib, Hassam Khan, Sumair Ali, Majid Ali, Fahim Ahmed, Adeel and Tahir Hussain.
