LAHORE, Sept 27: Pressing engagements of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) key officials again exposed their lack of interest for the game.

The two senior most PFF officials who were recently elected to their respective posts are Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, president PFF and Arshad Khan Lodhi, secretary who are incidentally federal and Punjab provincial ministers respectively.

PFF secretary Arshad failed, to take out time to attend the important meeting of SAF Games honorary secretaries to be held at Islamabad on Monday and appointed executive secretary PFF Mir Farooq Ahmed to represent him.

Earlier, Faisal also could not attend the general council meeting which elected him as president. Meanwhile, PFF has appointed Arif Rahim adviser to the PFF president who also act as marketing officer of the federation.
