Fire breaks out in Hum TV building, no casualties

KARACHI: A fire broke out at the Hum TV office situated in Karachi's II Chundrigar road on Thursday.

No casualties were reported, a HUM TV employee said, as the fire broke out early in the day.

The employee added that the equipment on the third floor of the building, where the programming department is located, was damaged in the fire which started at 8:30 am and was put out within an hour.

He added that employees have been told not to come to the office today, and that the channels regular transmission will continue uninterrupted.
