Public talk

The Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad is organising a public talk by Dr Markus Daechsel, senior lecturer in modern Islamic history, Royal Holloway, University of London, and launch of the book ‘Islamabad and the Politics of International Development in Pakistan’ on Tuesday, March 31 at its premises in F-5/2 at 4:30pm.

Press conference

Lok Virsa Executive Director Dr Fouzia Saeed will hold a press conference on Wednesday, April 1 at the Hall of Changing Exhibitions, Heritage Museum, at 3pm where details of Lok Mela-2015 will be shared with media. The annual folk festival popularly known as ‘Lok Mela’ will start on April 3 and continue till the 12th.

Sherezad Rahimtoola and Shamsha Hashwani are presenting their latest collection of jewellery and clothing from April 8-9 at Labels Islamabad from 12noon to 6pm.
