KOHAT: A couple and a youngster were gunned down here on Friday night.

According to police, Taufeeq Ahmed and his wife Niazmina were going their home in Shino Khel area on a motorcycle after closing their clinic. When they reached the main Shahpur road, a gunman sprayed them with bullets and escaped. The couple died on the spot.

The bodies were shifted to the Women and Children Hospital for autopsy. Police cordoned off the area and started a search for the killer.

It was learnt that Niazmina was Taufeeq’s second wife and a dispute was going on between him and the brothers of his first wife for some time. Police said that nobody had turned up to claim the bodies and register a case over the murder.

In another incident, one Bilal was killed by unidentified men on Kaloo Banda road when he going home in Sheikhan area.
