KARACHI: The ongoing polio campaign was deferred on Friday for an unspecified period in parts of the city surrounding the place near Quaidabad, where a bomb blast killed two people and left more than a dozen others wounded in the morning, officials said.
They added that the campaign targeting around 850,000 children in the districts of Malir, Korangi and Karachi East was postponed in areas falling within the jurisdiction of the Shah Latif police station for security reasons after the blast.
