QUETTA: The Anti-Terroris m Court, Sibi, awarded capital punishment to eight men on Tuesday for the murder of seven people.

Judge Rashid Mahmood announced the verdict in absence of he accused after the prosecution proved murder charges against Ghulam Qadir, Mohammad Kafeel, Ghulam Mohammad, Zafarullah, Harshullah, Gehnor Khan, Suhrab and Mullah Bakhsh.

The prosecution said they had killed seven people on the National Highway near Mithri on Nov 11 last year.
