DERA MURAD JAMALI: Three people were killed in an exchange of fire in the Jhal Magsi area of Nasirabad division, on Sunday.

Levies officials said that Shamher Magsi opened fire after seeing his relative woman with a man in Sarhani village of Jhal Magsi district, killing her and injuring the man. However, the injured man returned fire, killing the shooter. Later, the injured man succumbed to his injuries.

Levies officials reached the area after receiving information and shifted the bodies of the victims to hospital. “It is an honour killing incident in which the suspect also lost his life,” a senior Levies official told Dawn, adding that the bodies of the victims were later handed over to their families.
