Meherullah Hopeful of winning more golds

ISLAMABAD, Sept 24: Pakistan’s Meherullah, who won a gold at this month’s International boxing tournament in China, and two other boxers arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Meherullah bagged the gold in the 57kg category while light welterweight Syed Asghar Ali Shah took a silver. Flyweight Nauman Karim collected a bronze.

Meherullah, the Asian Games gold medallist said that he would continue to win more medals in the future. “I am fully fit and confident of doing even more for the country.”

The team which was received at the Islamabad Airport by the officials of Pakistan Sports Board and the Army Sports Directorate, left for Karachi later in the day.
