DADU: Many political and religious figures and people from all walks of life attended the funeral of Syed Mohammed Murad Ali Shah, the custodian of the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine, in Sehwan Sharif on Saturday.

Murad Shah, 78, died in a Karachi hospital on Friday and his body was taken to Sehwan Sharif for burial in the Amir Ji Kafi graveyard.

Among the prominent people present at the funeral ceremony were Sindh Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, MNA Malik Asad Sikandar, MPA Faqir Dad Khoso and Sindh United Party chairman Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah.
