Sir Syed, St. Joseph in semifinals

KARACHI, Sept 22: Sir Syed Girls College and St. Joseph Girls College defeated their respective opponents on Monday to advance into the semifinals of Karachi University Inter-collegiate girls handball championship-2003.

Sir Syed Girls College beat Khatoon-i-Pakistan College 26-1 while St. Joseph Girls College defeated Karachi College 8-1.

Both semifinals will be played on Tuesday. In the first encounter St. Joseph College will take on Sir Syed Girls College while in the second Korangi Girls College will clash Karachi University Faculties.—PPI
