ISLAMABAD, Sept 22: Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPP) MNA Syed Naveed Qamar has denied joining the delegation of parliamentarians accompanying President Pervez Musharraf to New York.

The MNA, in a statement issued to clarify news reports, said: “I wish to state categorically that neither I have requested nor have I been included in any official delegation to New York or anywhere.”

He said how could he be part of the delegation of Gen Musharraf whose self-assumed presidency was not recognized by the party to which he belonged.

The PPP leader said all rumours about him being part of an official delegation or joining the turncoats were part of malicious propaganda.
