Moin Khan's meeting with PCB chief delayed over 'personal reasons'

LAHORE: Moin Khan's meeting with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan has been delayed due to the chief selector's personal engagements, it was learnt on Monday.

A PCB spokesman said that the meeting would now take place on Tuesday.

PCB chief Shaharyar Moin had summoned Moin to explain his position over his controversial visit to a Christchurch casino during the ongoing World Cup.

The PCB, which was already under tremendous pressure due to the team’s dismal performance in the mega event, pressed the panic button when pictures of Moin at the casino went viral by ordering the embattled chief selector back.

Shaharyar had asked manager Naveed Akram Cheema to hold an inquiry into the Moin conundrum soon after the incident was reported.

Naveed has apparently not completed his detailed report due to the PCB chief’s sudden decision of calling Moin back.

Even though Moin was on the tour in the capacity of chief selector, he remained independent as he was not a part of the World Cup squad.

Well. Moin will deny and inform PCB that i was looking for HALAL food so I went to eat as casino is only place to get Halal food. He will never talk about 16.000 dollars chips and gambling of his wife and him. He should not deny as there were some eye witnesses too. Shame on Moin and his wife. i cant understand, how can these people do it on official duty.

Both are one and the same the person who called him for a meeting and the person who came to attend the meeting, no difference at all. Both will make some fake story in the closed room and provide to the media.
