NAWABSHAH: A speeding coach ran over a flock of sheep killing more than 70 of them on the spot near Bucheri on Friday.

The passenger coach coming from Karachi was on its way to Sahiwal when it rammed the flock, crossing Bucheri Road. More than 15 other sheep were injured in the accident.

Officials at the Balu Ja Qubba police station said a police party went after the coach and intercepted it to arrest the driver near Daur town.
