LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday arrested a currency dealer for doing illegal hundi/hawala business on Hall Road.

According to a spokesman, a team headed by Sarwar Asghar raided a currency outlet on Hall Road and arrested its owner Imran Ahad for doing illegal hundi/hawala business.

The FIA recovered Rs158,000, prize bonds and a laptop and registered a case against him.

The immigration authorities arrested Nasir Iqbal who was to board a Dubai-bound flight at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. His name was on the blacklisted category of passengers.
