LAHORE: Lahore Region squad for the PHF U-25 Inter-Region National Hockey Championship was selected after the trials were held here at the Johar Hockey Stadium on Wednesday.
The selection committee headed by Olympian Danish Kaleem along with members Mirza Waheed Baig, Tariq Butt and Shahid after witnessing the trials named the squad.
Squad:
Goalkeepers: Ameen Yousuf (captain), Mohammad Asif; Full-backs: Hassan Ubaid, Ahad Malik, Mateen; Halves: Mazhar, Sikandar, Dipak, Mohammad Sohaib, Mohammad Suleman, Faizan Amjad; Forwards: Bilal Mahmood, Rana Suhail Raza, Adeel Latif, Azfar Yaqoob, Arsalan Arshad, Abdul Shakur, Ghazanfar.
Officials: Irfan Zia (manager), Waheed Baig (head coach), Mujahid Afzal, Sohail Ashraf (coaches).
