Two brothers murdered in revenge

TOBA TEK SINGH, Sept 21: Two minor brothers were murdered on Sunday by their teenaged cousin over a farmland dispute in a nearby Chak 269-GB, Kot Khitran.

Muhammad Ramzan (16), whose father died in 1990, had not been in good terms with his uncle who had got transferred the land of his father in his own name. Time and again the accused had demanded his share of land from his uncle, but to no avail. To take revenge, Ramzan attacked Faisal (6) and two-and-a-half-year-old Arsalan with a chopper and decapitated them.

Rajana police have arrested the accused.

RECOVERED: A district and sessions court bailiff raided on Saturday night Rajana police station and recovered a person unlawfully detained in the lock-up.

The father of Amjad Pervaiz of Chak 336-GB had filed a petition before DSJ Akram Zaki, who sent his court bailiff to raid the police station. The judge summoned the Rajana SHO on Monday (today).
