Robbers strike nine times in Sialkot

SIALKOT, Sept 21: Robbers took away a Pajero, two motorcycles, ornaments, cash, electronic items, buffaloes and other valuables worth millions of rupees in nine strikes in Sialkot district during the last 24 hours.

Unknown thieves took away the Pajero (GAJ-6775) of trader Qazi Nadeem Waqar from outside the Sialkot dry port at Sambrial.

On Mujahid Road in the city, three unidentified armed dacoits barged into the office of trader Qaisar Mehmood and escaped after snatching cash, cheques and other valuables worth Rs1 million.

In Muslim Colony (Hajipura), armed men busted into the house of trader Zeeshan, held the inmates hostage and fled away after scooping ornaments, cash and other valuables worth Rs0.8 million.

Unknown thieves took away a motorcycle (STF-4110) from the factory of Rashid Butt in Muhallah Bogarah, Hajipura locality.

In Muhallah Nia Mianapura, Hajipura, some thieves took away a motorcycle (STM-6162) of Rehman.

In Chak Kaka (Begowala), four armed bandits looted ornaments, cash and other valuables worth Rs100,000 from the house of landlord Muhammad Arif.

In Uddowar village (Motra), unknown thieves stole ornaments, cash and other precious items valuing Rs100,000 from the house of Muhammad Ayub.

Thieves took away buffaloes of Anwar Cheema in Kotli Chuniyan, Begowala.

Similarly, some thieves stole several buffaloes in Rohaila village.

Police have registered separate cases with no arrest or sort of recovery.
