MINGORA, Sept 19: A woman shot herself dead in police custody here on Thursday.
It has been reported that Wali Khan, son of Pir Muhammad, resident of Kotlai Kabal, Rehmat Zada, son of Ali Rehman, resident of Melaga, Gul Zameen, son of Shamul Hadi and his wife Shabana hired a taxi from Shamozo to reach upper Swat.
As they arrived in Pir Abai, a village in Kabal, they tied up the taxi driver, pushed him out of the vehicle and took away his car. The driver somehow managed to get in touch with the Kabal police, who cordoned off the area and held the accused.
According to the police, as they were interrogating the male accused, the woman shot herself with a pistol.
She was rushed to Saidu Sharif hospital, but could not survive.
The Charbagh police, after the woman shot herself, arrested the three men who accompanied her.
They were later on shifted to the Kabal police station for further investigations.
FIR: A resident of Kokarai, Swat, Sarzameen Khan has accused his relatives of killing his daughter and demanded that an FIR should be registered against them.
Talking to journalists here on Friday, Sarzameen Khan alleged that his daughter, Fahmida, was killed by her in-laws and the police were reluctant to register an FIR against them.
He said that after poisoning his daughter, her in-laws shifted her to Saidu Sharif hospital, where she survived only for two hours.
However, he accused, the in-laws did not inform him about his daughter’s condition.
