LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested four people for supplying spurious drugs of Hepatitis C and other diseases and recovered a huge quantity in a factory raid on Wahdat Road.

FIA Lahore Director Dr Usman Anwer told a press conference on Saturday that Sajjah and Arshad, of Azad Jummu Kashmir, manufactured spurious drugs and supplied them to several outlets in Kashmir, Punjab, KP and Karachi. “The FIA is raiding different medical stores and pharmacies to recover the spurious drugs,” he said.

The FIA on Saturday also raided a pharmaceutical factory on Wahdat Road in this connection and found spurious drugs. It also arrested its two employees Naeem and Tahir and registered a case against them.
