MANSEHRA, Oct 3: Preparations are underway to conduct the local bodies elections in tribal areas and its schedule will be announced within couples of weeks, Dawn has learnt through election commission sources.

According to a source chief election commission, Islamabad, has sought the information about the population and number of voters who live in Pata or Fata, to conduct the local bodies elections there.

It is further learnt that assistant election commission office Mansehra has also sent the information showing that total population of tribal area of Kala Dakha  is about 1,74,682 and around 59,994 voters are enlisted in this area of Pata.
