Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and his wife Reham performed Umrah on Wednesday night, with photos of the newly-wed couple circulating on Twitter. The couple can be seen in the traditional Ihram, a state in which pilgrims wear special outfits: two-piece seamless garments for men and any loose dress for women, who are permitted to reveal hands and faces only.

The PTI chairman left Pakistan two days earlier, as he had said he would go to perform Umrah along with his wife Reham to Saudi Arabia. He said the couple would offer prayers for the victims of the Army Public School attack.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the PTI chairman's residence in Bani Gala on Jan 8.

The nikkah, which was a low-key affair, was conducted by Mufti Saeed and was followed by a photo session of the newly-weds.

Islan doesn't only believe in mere rituals .The lesson that they should learn from these sacrad places is strict adherence to the ideology of Pakistan.People of Pakistan are all set to give them a chance .They shoud devise to be different fron the conventional players.

@Lucky Star You mean 'serve' like the current government is 'serving'?. As for Shaukat Khanum hospital and Namal university, PML-N has not made one such institution in their three times in power. They are more interested in mega projects with mega kickbacks. Last, Shaukat Khanum is going to serve people, not IK.

Should not be made public, our media needs to be sensitive of people personal affairs. Not everything requires to be broadcast. Everyone knows how Umrah is performed and which places he would have visited and what he would have worn.

@Awais It won't be a show off if media stops following him in his personal affairs. A private channel also tried to make a dramatic "documentary" to make something about this marriage controversial; nobody paid heed. The man's simple, he isn't surrounded by security or protocol there, except that one man who is helping him.

I am one of the biggest well wisher of IK I hope he is not encouraging or intentionally allowing these pictures to surface. He should not have done that because it will take his reward away and only fame will be left. Noble acts are allowed to be made public only if the intention is to encourage others to do the same, otherwise reward will be gone. There is a famous Hadith about it. May Allah Almighty protect him, otherwise we'll be left alone with corrupt politicians I am really worried about his life, because his advancement means death of the politics of so many corrupt politicians, who are not only cunning, have gathered illegalwealth but also can go to any length to achieve their ends

@Awais : on second thoughts it is not a show off, Umra ka Umra and upon his return he will say he worked so hard for Pakistan people and got a lot of oil from King of Saudi Arabia so harkat main barkat ki misaal ---- jo kaaam PM na karsakay King ki ayadat main -- NAYA Imran Khan nay kardikhaya and there is no more sohortage in KPK by the time he comes back. Allah qabool Karay aur Barkatain Pakistan per inshaullah.
