PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa establishment department on Wednesday announced transfers and postings of a number of senior officers.

According to a handout issued here, Mohammad Ishfaq Khan, principal secretary to chief minister, was transferred and posted as chairman of Sarhad Development Authority; Mian Waheeduddin, secretary mineral development department, was made commissioner Bannu division; while Mohammad Akbar Khan, secretary irrigation department, was posted as secretary mineral development department.

Similarly, Syed Nazar Hussain Shah, director general, Galyat Development Authority, Abbottabad, was transferred and posted as secretary environment department; and Hazrat Masood Mian was posted as director (finance), Sarhad Development Authority.

Engineer Mohammad Naeem Khan, chief executive officer, water & sanitation services, Peshawar, was transferred and posted as secretary irrigation department; Syed Mohsin Shah, commissioner Bannu division, was made secretary benevolent fund cell of the administration department; Dr Shahzad Khan Bangash was made as principal secretary to chief minister; Arshad Majeed Mohmand, deputy commissioner Malakand, was asked to report to the establishment department for further posting; Agha Mohammad Ali Abbas, deputy secretary of finance department, was made deputy commissioner of Malakand.

Likewise, Nisar Ahmad, deputy commissioner Haripur, was transferred and posted as deputy commissioner DI Khan; Capt (retd) Tahir Zafar Abbasi, deputy secretary (admin), administration department, was posted as deputy commissioner Haripur, and Ihsanullah, additional deputy commissioner, Lakki Marwat, was posted as deputy commissioner, Lakki Marwat.
