Three suspects arrested in the case and remanded in jail custody were produced in the Larkana Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) headed by Mohammed Riaz Rajput, who extended their remand for another three days. One of them, who appeared to be under-age, has been kept in the juvenile jail.

The investigation team comprising CIA Inspector Fahim Farooqi and sub-inspector Sultan Gaad submitted the final chargesheet of the case, registered at the Waleed police station on Dec 27, 2014, listing the names of policemen and private persons as witnesses of the rape and murder of the girl.
