Two people from two powerful professions – Imran Khan, a politician and Reham khan, a journalist – getting married is the making of a perfect ‘power couple’.

In the past, we have had similar couples in fields as diverse as politics, showbiz and sports. These couples have left a lasting impact not just in their respective fields but also the society in general.

The union brings up many questions: How much impact will the two Khans together have — one a prime ministerial hopeful and the other committed to carrying on with journalism?

And how have other power couples in Pakistan fared as far as their impact on the state and society is concerned?

Herald has invited writers and commentators, to share their answer to the following question:

Who has been the most influential power couple of Pakistan?

Dawn.com invites its readers to answer the question above. Selected comments will be published in the upcoming issue of the Herald. Click here to subscribe.
