GHALANAI: An army soldier was killed and two were injured in a roadside bomb blast in Qandaro area of Mohmand tribal agency on Tuesday.

A newly emerging militant organisation, Jamaatul Ahrar, has claimed responsibility for the blast. Its spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan, in an email sent to newspapers, said that members of the Jamaat had carried out the attack.
