ISLAMABAD:Keeping in view the foggy conditions in Islamabad and Lahore, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has advised airlines to reschedule their flights.

An advisory issued by the CAA has asked the airlines to plan their flights in such a manner so that they could avoid fog.

The step has been taken to keep passengers from inconvenience.

According to a CAA statement, the weather advisory issued by Air Transport Directorate has been prepared under the weather forecasts maintained by Pakistan Meteorological Department and National Weather and Forecasting.

“CAA advisory is aimed at saving passengers’ precious time. They face great inconvenience when flights are cancelled due to fog,” the statement added.

The CAA has shared complete and detailed information regarding weather conditions and anticipated fog in the month of December while the airlines have been directed to reschedule their flight operations accordingly.
