PML-Q leader shot dead in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Sarwar was shot dead in Islamabad on Tuesday, police sources said.

Police sources told Dawn that Chaudhry Sarwar, a PML-Q leader and a businessman, was targeted by unknown assailants within the remit of the Tarnol police station in the federal capital.

Police said the motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained.
