Revising pension

Published November 25, 2014

The rise in utility bills, prices of consumer goods and medicines in the recent years has increased financial burden of pensioners and government employees who have fixed income. The financial burden is increasing day by day but there is no increase in the pension. The 10pc increase announced in budget 2014 is not sufficient because this amount is already a meagre sum.

The government should review the pension and pay scales. and announce adequate relief package.
