I watched the movie. Sonam is a very good actress but honestly speaking they did not do justice to the movie with Sonam Kapoor in that role. There was a marked difference in the acting of the two lead actors. Fawad being far superior. Rekha did the original Khusoorat and compare the two roles. Rekha was very fit for the job and did it extremely well. Karina, in my opinion would have been a much better choice. Just a matter of opinion. I could be wrong.

Its true he's not famous here. You need atleast twenty films in your kitty with good box office hits like 300 crore mark to be a established star or famous known face all over North india. He only has one movie and one serial, which too is a pay and get channel, where one has to buy the extra channel to include it in set of box scheme channels like colours,Sony,star plus,life ok etc , which hardly people pay or buy extra. Only those who have bought it know him or watched his movie. Infact ali Zafar is known face and famous not fawad. Because he has worked in Yashraj film which gets most North Indian audience market covered. Never the less best of luck to him for future.

@Sidra there is difference between 2lakh vs 1.25billion. Every other indian soap star has that fan base online. But how is a lakh fan online equate I.25billion whole india? South india, North east india has it's own language film industry,local star icon which even we sitting in mumbai dont know of. Go ask them how many states even know him or North indian stars except established ones from decades. Bollywood primary focus market is Hindi speaking heartland and metros. So how does india get covered when even bollywood doesn't cover that range? And even to be in A league you need to be in A list director/producer kitty. He's not in. He's popular just like Imran Hashmi or any soap star. Nobody is denying he has potential to go high in bollywood in future in A league. But to say he is already and famous like Amitabh blah blah. I am sorry facts on the ground are different. But you can believe what you want to believe I live here so I know my country better. I repeat Ali Zafar is more known face than him from pakistan.

Knowing Fawad Khan as a Lahorite ( being my son's school mate at FAST, Lahore), FK is a man of great character and honour. He has a lovely family life. When he talks of emotional attachment, it only means that they are good friends; and there is nothing wrong in cultivating a sincere friendship. Sonam Kapoor and family extended a very warm welcome to Fawad and helped him feel at home in Bollywood. Given the code of honour of the Pakhtuns, it is in his genes to reciprocate positively; hence, the sentiments that he expressed for his famous co star! Best of luck to both of them in their next venture.
